My second submission for the IHSPA videographer award is a video I feel very passionate about. As a former cross country runner, reporting from one of the biggest cross country meets in Iowa was an honor.
ISU vs. UNI, a tailgating story.
My first submission for the IHSPA Videographer of the year award, is a video that my partner Emma Weimerskirch and I did together. In this video, we had the chance to travel to Ames Iowa and report all the action happening before, during and after the UNI vs ISU game.

So this year in my Broadcast Journalism class, I was offered the opportunity to share my videos for the world to see. Along side that, I was offered an opportunity of a lifetime. The Iowa High School Press Association (IHSPA) hosts a contest each year for Videographer of the year. This award is given to one student in Iowa who exceeds expectations of creating news stories and videos. This year, my teacher asked me if I wold like to submit some of my work to this competition. Without hesitation I agreed to do this. So this website is going to be used to share my news stories and videos that I will be submitting!
